Why Postcards?
There is much to love about postcards. Finding a handwritten postcard in the mailbox will make your entire day. When you send it to a loved one, it becomes a tangible token of affection. With a postcard, you could send a smile to a stranger across oceans. Add art into the mix, and you’ve got something that will be a joy to look at for years. Our motto defines us, we are all about "Connecting the world through art, one postcard at a time".
About the Art
We looked everywhere for the kind of postcards we wanted buy - the kind of art that brings joy to our hearts. When we couldn’t find it, we made it ourselves by collaborating with young, upcoming artists. We are proud to be a part of the journey they are on by using their art for our postcard designs. The imaginative fruits of their labor allow us to share the beauty they see in the world.
The Environment
At PostArt India, we're doing our best to ensure that we are as environmentally conscious as possible. The postcards we create are manufactured using sustainably sourced paper. We use the Iveri Natural paper from Gruppo Cordenons Paper Company. Additional information regarding their environmental safety policies can be found here.
Furthermore, every effort has been made to ensure that the packaging we use is recyclable and reusable.
We love the environment as much as we love art, and we are always happy to receive suggestions and feedback about how we can improve our practices. Please get in touch if you have an idea that could help us!
Meet our Founder
Our Founder, Druma Shukla, comes from a family of travel bug-bitten art lovers. She is an avid postcard collector and postcrosser.
She hopes that our eco-friendly products bring joy to people around the world. In her words, “The more that technology advances, the more I hold these traditional ways of making connections with people closer to my heart. The recent pandemic has made art, travel and connection more important than ever. While we battle this pandemic together, let’s reach out to each other in these little ways and remind ourselves that none of us are ever alone.”
